About us

The GSAS has been founded in Sassari, in 1994, by a group of friends with a great passion for caves…since then our association has dealt mainly with speleological activities aimed at the study, documentation and preservation of the karstic environment and of the natural heritage of Sardinia.
Sometimes we also deal with other activities such as Mountaineering, Trekking, Rock Climbing and Canyoning.
We cooperate with analogous associations or groups, organize courses to prepare the members of our association for the above mentioned activities and promote many other social and cultural initiatives.
